A Whale of a time

Swimming in the wild with one of nature's most gentle giants, the whale shark. A bucket list item for many people!

We start the day with a one-hour drive to Punta Sam Maritime Terminal, where we have a breakfast snack on arrival and, approx 20 minutes later, board a private power boat and head out to search for whale sharks! It typically takes 45 minutes to an hour to spot them, and once we do, two guests are allowed in the water two at a time under the supervision of a trained guide who will also take plenty of pictures for you! Once we swim with a whale shark or two, we will head to Isla Mujeres, where you can chill on the beach or swim while the crew prepares some fresh ceviche. You can also snorkel around the beach before heading back to the port and returning to the hotel.

7:00am departure  / approx return 2pm (things to pack: swimwear, hat)
You will receive towels and factor 50 sunscreen at the hotel
