The Maritime Mayans

Discover Tulum, a series of cenotes (sinkholes) and swim with turtles in the wild.

We are planning to start this day early to beat the full intensity of the sun and the crowds. We start off with a one-hour drive to Tulum. We should get to the site soon after opening, meaning there will be little to no groups of visitors there yet, so we may enjoy a peaceful guided tour, take time for pictures and take in the whole surroundings. Our next stop, just 25 minutes away, will be a group of cenotes (sinkholes) to cool off and relax in before heading to Turtle Bay for lunch in front of the ocean and to chill out on some private beach beds and soak up the sun. While here, you can also go snorkelling with turtles in their natural habitat!

7:30am departure  / 4pm return (Things to pack:, hat, swimwear, walking shoes)

You will receive towels and factor 50 sunscreen at the hotel
note: you are made to shower off any sun screen prior to entering a cenote (sinkhole), to protect the eco system
