Discover Chichen Itza, a unique cenote and a taste of Valladolid.
Our day begins early to beat the full intensity of the sun and the crowds. We'll start with a comfortable two-hour drive to Chichen Itza, stopping for refreshments and a break. Arriving at the site soon after opening, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful guided tour, take time for pictures, and fully absorb the surroundings without the usual groups of visitors. Our next stop, just 20 minutes away, will be a refreshing cenote (sinkhole) to cool off and relax. We'll then head to the old town of Valladolid for lunch in an old palazzo and an exceptional tour of another nearby privately owned palazzo, filled with what is allegedly the world's most extensive private collection of Mexican cultural artefacts!
